A quiet day roaming around the parks and museums of Madrid by myself while mister worked. Just like in Porto, we didn’t really need a metro pass since the city is very walkable with a lot of conveniences nearby and attractions. Getting to the Palacio de Cristal is relatively easy as it sits within Parque de El Retiro, Madrid’s most popular and massive park. You can walk in from any side and will most likely end up near the Crystal Palace or follow the tourists. If you’re still unsure, view the map below to get more accurate directions.
